Corrosion Protection Coating
TEFRO®cor 310 RP is a one-component anti-corrosion coating based on silane-terminated prepolymers. It cures with ambient moisture, so it bonds to damp, ice-free steel — even below the dew point — and protects to corrosion category C4 (DIN EN ISO 12944-4) in a single coat that combines primer and topcoat. Supplied by Trivaro across Europe and Scandinavia.
Built for conditions that defeat ordinary coatings
Moisture, frost and tight maintenance windows usually stop a coating job. TEFRO®cor 310 RP is engineered for exactly those conditions.
One component, no mixing
Applied straight from the bucket — no mixing ratio, no catalyst, no pot-life clock.
Bonds to damp steel
Moisture-curing and superhydrophobic: coat damp, ice-free steel below the dew point.
Single-coat C4
Primer and topcoat in one — 300 µm vertical / 500 µm horizontal dry film per coat.
UV-resistant
Weather-resistant and UV-stable, so it can be used without a separate UV topcoat.
All-season window
Works from −5 to +35 °C at any humidity — no viscosity jump in the cold.
Cleaner chemistry
Solvent-free; free of isocyanates, amines and epoxy resins (VOC approx. 10 g/L).
Where it is used
Steel assets in wet, salt-laden or chemically loaded environments — far beyond marine alone.
Marine, shipyards & ports
Steel structures in coastal and saltwater exposure, shipyards and port areas.
Water & wastewater
Sewage treatment plants and hydroelectric installations under constant moisture.
Energy & infrastructure
Power poles, pylons and structural steel exposed to weather year-round.
Tanks & fuel storage
Fuel depots and tank exteriors that need durable single-coat protection.
Transport & high-humidity buildings
Steel in transportation and humid structures such as swimming pools.
Industrial & chemical plants
Process equipment and structural steel exposed to aggressive, chemically loaded atmospheres.

Frequently asked questions
Key points specifiers ask before selecting a single-coat corrosion system.
Can it be applied to wet steel?
Yes — it is moisture-curing and superhydrophobic, so it bonds to damp, ice-free steel and even below the dew point. Standing or dripping water is not permitted.
What corrosion class does it reach?
Up to corrosion category C4 per DIN EN ISO 12944-4, as a single coat combining primer and topcoat.
Does it need mixing or a separate topcoat?
No. It is one-component, used straight from the bucket with no mixing ratio. It is UV-resistant and needs no additional UV topcoat.
What temperature and humidity range can it handle?
Working and substrate temperature −5 to +35 °C, at any humidity, including below the dew point on damp, ice-free steel.
Is it solvent-free and free of hazardous binders?
Yes — solvent-free (VOC approx. 10 g/L) and free of isocyanates, amines and epoxy resins.
