SeaRox SL 436

SeaRox SL 436 is a semi-rigid stone wool slab developed for floating-floor insulation only, used with an approved top layer. Its fibre structure is tuned for low dynamic stiffness (11–21 MN/m³ depending on thickness), which is what gives a floating floor its impact-sound performance. Nominal density 140 kg/m³, thermal conductivity 0.037 W/mK, compressive strength ≥ 12 kPa. Non-combustible to IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 1 (MED certificate MEDB00001Z8) and part of the DNV-approved "Steel Deck A-60 floating floor" build-up (MEDB000016G): 60–100 mm SeaRox in one or two layers of equal thickness under two bonded 1.5 mm steel plates.
