SeaRox SL 440

SeaRox SL 440 is a strong, rigid stone wool slab used primarily for floating decks with a pressure-equalising plate of steel or moulding material, where load capacity is required; it can also be cut up and used in panels. Nominal density 150 kg/m³, thermal conductivity 0.037 W/mK, compressive strength ≥ 30 kPa; the high density gives good noise reduction. Non-combustible to IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 1 (MED certificate MEDB00001Z8) and part of the DNV-approved "Steel Deck A-60 floating floor" build-up (MEDB000016G): 60–100 mm SeaRox in one or two layers of equal thickness under two bonded 1.5 mm steel plates.
